Fashion Biz, which was founded in 1989, now exports clothing to numerous countries worldwide. Initially, they had a 100 kilowatt solar system installed when they moved into their current location, but it soon became apparent that this wouldn’t be enough to meet their needs.
Quest Carpets
As a result of their investment, 48% of their electricity is now generated by solar energy and their estimated savings over the next 10 years will be upwards of $450,000.
Since 1978, Quest Carpets has been a leading manufacturer of carpets for homes and businesses. These carpets are created in Quest Carpets’ facility in Dandenong and sold all around Australia and New Zealand. Quest Carpets approached Solar Run with a need to reduce their escalating electricity expenses.
Homewares Inc.
Homewares Inc’s products are widely used in homes across Australia, and they are known for their commitment to quality and sustainability. To help drive down energy costs and support their environmental goals, Homewares Inc reached out to the team at SolarRun to design a commercial solar system to meet their operational and ESG objectives.
The collaboration resulted in the installation of a 100kW solar system designed by SolarRun. Whilst a significant investment, the savings are expected to exceed $200,000 over the next 10 years and supply 69% of the business’s energy requirements.
