Fashion Biz’s Solar Success Story

Established in 1989, Fashion Biz is a global exporter of clothing. When Fashion Biz moved into their present location, they installed a 100-kilowatt solar system. However, it quickly became obvious that this wasn’t large enough to meet their energy demands.

Fashion Biz asked SolarRun to get involved.  As a result, they now have an additional 100 kW of solar panels installed on their premises.  The combined system supplies 69% of their electricity requirements. This sustainable upgrade is estimated to save Fashion Biz at least $200,000 over the next decade.

Since its foundation in 1978, Quest Carpets has been a premier carpet manufacturer for homes and businesses. Operating from their state-of-the-art facility in Dandenong, they produce quality carpets for customers in Australia and New Zealand. Recognizing the need to curb rising electricity costs, Quest Carpets turned to SolarRun for an energy-efficient solution.

Quest Carpets has taken a bold step towards sustainability by investing in a significant commercial solar panel system.  An impressive 48% of their electricity needs are now met by solar power, and they’re set to realize substantial savings, estimated to exceed $450,000 over the next ten years
