Good Business for Fashion Staple
Established in 1989, Fashion Biz (Biz Collection) is a successful and well known distributer and exporter of clothing and garments around the world. In 2017, they opened a new Perth based facility, complete with a showroom, offices, functioning warehouse, and a solar system.
However, due to significant increases in their export market demands and in the expansion of their business, it became clear that their current solar solution wouldn’t be capable of meeting their electricity demands.
Fashion Biz, due to this increase in electrical demand, sought advice from SolarRun. As a result, they purchased a 100kW solar panel system from SolarRun to which will now help them to cover 69 per cent of their electric demands and save an estimated $200,000 over the next 10-years.
Quest Carpets
Established in 1978, Quest Carpets has built a reputation as a quality carpet manufacturer, for residential and commercial customers in Australia and New Zealand. Faced with rapidly escalating electricity bills, Quest Carpets asked SolarRun to provide a solar system that would reduce their power bills and provide a quick payback.
The SolarRun team designed a commercial solar power system for Quest Carpets that supplies 48% of their total electricity requirements. This bespoke solar system is set to pay for itself several times over with expected savings of more than $450,000 over the next ten years.

Homewares Inc. goes Green.
Homewares Incorporated products are a household staple and well known for their quality. Having put in place environmental and cost reduction plans to reduce their carbon footprint, Homewares Inc. engaged SolarRun to find and install a customised solar solution to achieve these goals.
After thorough assessment of their energy consumption patterns and demands, we were able to design and install a specialised 100kW solar system to suit their needs. Due to this solar solution and their desire to go green, Homewares Inc. is now able to reduce their electricity bill by over 65 per cent and save an estimated $20,000 a year on electricity.
