Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor!!!!Please read my review to avoid this serviceHere are few dot points to consolidate my experience.- Excess rubbish was just left on the premises with no communication of clearing- Silicone is used to repair broken tiles (which is not a long term solution). Not even going to the length of supplying a similar color silicone but couldn't even have the decency to tell us they were broken and would have to change them in the near future.- The plumber has provided a very average job of insulating the copper pipe on the hot water unit only to leave one part of the copper exposed.- During installation I noticed his installation team moving the solar panels from inside our garage to the outside of the building, placing them on the gravel/rocks without any protection causing scratching to the sides of the panels. When I approached your team about this issue they said not to worry as it's metal and can't be scratched.- Aside from all that Sam has taken over 3 weeks to install and get the solar approved by a licensed electrician to turn on the solar power.The lack of customer service is astounding

With heat weather on the day of installation team are very calm and do very professional work. Quoted and paid for bird netting to be installed. Bird netting installed to half of the panels, and the other half has a family of pigeons nesting underneath. I am still waiting for a response for someone to come out and complete the quoted and paid for job.

Sam, from Solar Run Lara, has been amazing. We've just had a 23 panel, 10kw system with battery and heat pump hot water service installed. As we have a few large gums, we had the panels installed on 3 side - east, south and north - to get the most out of the day's sunlight (photos below at 9:30am end of winter, with the east on north sides in full sun from 11am till sundown. Roof has full sun during the optimal months. Edited to add last full-sun photo at 10:45am)The communication with Sam has been nothing less than exceptional, with texts and phone calls even on his days off to keep us informed of the process and progress. He helped take care of all the government funding and loans, which made that very daunting task so much easier. I'm so impressed with the install - neat and clean workmanship. Sam has shown us how we can us wholesale electricity prices to keep our import low, while still getting the best FiT possible. Although this wasn't our intention, we would be happy if that money saved or earned can contribute to the loan repayments. Once we've installed our induction cooktop, we can fully disconnect from gas and contribute to a sustainable future for our kids, while also saving ourselves a small fortune. Thanks again, Sam!

We recently installed a 10.12 kw solar system. Solar Run Lara were a delight to work with. What made a huge difference in our experience is the knowledge and professionalism that Sam brings to the table. Can't thank Sam enough for also being patient with all our queries. Sam at Solar Run Lara was incredible he knows exactly what he was doing and I could tell he was knowledgeable. I have had quotes from other Big popular companies but I couldnt digest what they where quoting for less of a system Sam did, im an engineer so I knew what is reasonable. I jumped on Sams 13kw 10kw inverter quote, the System he quoted was high quality and so was the work and still up to half the price other where asking. Using Goodwe and Trina (goodwe is part of General Electric!). My last system was TrueValue and after the old inverter was removed I just realised how dodgy TrueValue installer was with many holes in the wall. Solar Run installer spent some time making sure where the inverter was mounted would be on a secure beam, drill once and install. They Arrived 8am on dot and Where very quite untill 10am and started on all the noisy work eg cutting roof tiles. Sam made everything a painless process from quote to install was done extremly quickly, profesionally and the work is top notch. The guys where really polite too and always cleaning up after themselfs, I kept telling them not to worry as Ill go over with a vacuum but they insisted which shows you they care about what they do! I will be back with battery. 5 day Update system is producing avg 24kw per day In July each day has been raining, which Solar Analytics is over peforming comaired to other equivlent systems. Looking forward to Summer

After doing 10 different quotes from local companies in Geelong and also in Melbourne, I decided to go with Solar Run and I couldn’t have done better. Rebate was approved by Solar Vic on a Thursday morning, I got the panels delivered on same Thursday afternoon, and everything installed on Monday, only because it was raining on Friday. Electrician came a couple of days later to check the installation and everything was approved smoothly.
