Founded in 2003, EGing PV is a high-tech enterprise specialised in developing, manufacturing and marketing solar photovoltaic products. EGing PV was founded in 2003 and is an International Science and Technology cooperation base. They have established the Jiangsu (EGing) PV Engineering Research Academy, Jiangsu Solar Energy Materials Engineering Research Centre, Jiangsu Corporate Technology Centre, National Post-doctoral Research Base, and joint research centre with top universities. Amongst the best solar panel and solar module creators in the world – EGing PV is looking to further its dynamic business model and production with some big investments into its Research and Development.
EGing PV ‘s solar panels are designated at Bloomberg’s Tier 1. This means that their solar panels are developed by the own teams, within their own factories, with at least six different projects larger than 1.5MW. This means that EGing Pv’s solar panels are established by their own quality controls – which ensure that no other their-party brands help with the creation and development of their solar modules and panels. PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), is the leading independent test lab for the global downstream solar industry. They have published the 6th Edition (2020) of its PV Module Reliability Scorecard in partnership with DNV Gl, the world’s largest resource of independent experts and certification body. EGing PV has not been evaluated by PV Evolution labs just yet, but by 2021 – they are amongst the solar companies in contract to get their modules tested by PVEL.
Eging PV has an array of modules, offering half-cut cell modules and standard modules.
The half-cut modules include designs with:
The standard modules include similar designs with:

The CEC has approved three main modules from EGing PV , which are stated below:
The 400W is the new golden standard for solar panels in Australia- and for good reason. Its biggest claim to fame is that it has a higher power output, while still being more cost-efficient than its competitors. It has the capabilities of the half-cut cell designs as previously mentioned.
The 415W is the next step from its brother the 400 – a premium model for solar panels, with some extra power and efficiency to boot. It has a high power output and maintains its cost-efficiency comparatively with its competitors. It has all the features of the 400- but with a few key differences.
It has the capabilities of the half-cut cell designs as previously mentioned, while also being suitable with the standard cut cell modules as well.
EGing PV‘s 415W solar module is built to house some of the best technology solar modules can have in today’s market. Here’s why:
182MM Cell Technology
Module Efficiency
EGing PV’s 400W solar module’s ingenious design creates a more durable, higher efficiency, and overall greater power production in comparison to many other solar modules/panels in Australia. Here are a few reasons why:
182MM Cell Technology
Module Efficiency
EGing PV has stated that the 415W module is incredibly suited for residential products within high snow or high wind environments. Although it doesn’t snow often (or at all) in Australia – this design allows for your 415W module to be used in extreme cold and during high wind springs or summers.
The ability to do so comes from the high level of construction design for this module, with a weatherproof cell design – you can be sure that this module will last even in the hardest of conditions.
The operating temperatures of this module can range from ~40 degrees celsius to 85 degrees celsius.
IP or Ingress Protection is an internationally recognized method of measurement for the varying degrees of dust and liquid resistance a piece of technology can have. In other words – IP and the number that comes after it is the rating of how well something can protect itself from dust and water getting inside of it.
The first numeral has a range from 1 to 6. With 6 being the maximum rating, it means that it is extremely good at protecting itself against small solids such as sand, dust, and gravel. The second number has a max rating of 8, which means that is completely water-resistant. This doesn’t mean that if you drop your 415W module into the ocean it will survive (because it is not waterproof you see) but it does mean that its liquid resistance is at the very best rating.
As you have read earlier, the 415W module is durable enough to withstand high snow and high wind areas – and with an internationally recognized rating of IP68, it can withstand depths of water that can go up to 1 meter, and sizable sand or dust storms.
If you’re looking for something that will last an extremely long time and will be strong enough to handle the worst that mother nature has to offer – EGing PV’s 415W module is the way to go for your residential solar power needs.
Solar panels come with a product and performance warranty. The product warranty is designed to cover manufacturing faults or materials in the panel that leads to damage or malfunction, while the performance warranty is to cover a panel’s performance won’t deteriorate beyond a certain point.
As of May 1st 2021, EGing now offers a 15 year product warranty and a 25 year performance warranty on their panels offered in Australia. For the performance warranty, the policy details the linear power output degradation that is covered for each of the different types of panels (i.e. Polycrystalline or Monocrystalline, single glass or double glass modules).
To have a good chance of claiming warranty with EGing you will need to have your installer or an ‘authorised dealer’ make the claim on your behalf. If they are out of business you will need to make “an immediate notification directly to EGing PV”
In response to an earlier version of this review, EGing has now updated and made some positive improvements to their warranty policy and created an Australian website with an ability to lodge a warranty claim online.
“In case of replacement, upon receiving the notification from EGing PV in writing for return of the product involved for warranty claim, the customer can ship the products back to EGing PV’s authorized dealers or nominated address in Australia. EGing requires that the defeat products are insured and packaged well for of shipping. Shipping cost and other reasonable cost will be returned to customer Upon approval from EGing, EGing PV will provide all necessary services and assistance and ensures fast response from the time of claim is launched to the time the claim is settled. ”
It now appears that, although EGing do not have an Australian office, there would be somewhere in Australia you could ship the panels to get considered for replacement – although an Australian address or authorised dealer is not mentioned in their warranty document or on their Australian website. It is our opinion, that without an installer with buying power with EGing it would still be difficult to get a fast response as they suggest.
It is great to see that our reviews are having a positive impact on the offers product manufacturers are presenting to the Australian market – but there is still some way to go for EGing to match some of the more established solar panel brands in Australia.

EG-415-M54-HL is a premium product has higher power output and a lower cost than that of a single-watt system. The product has excellent performance properties in terms of the occlusion loss/temperature coefficient. Battery half-cutting technology effectively reduces the hot spot risk of high-power components, resulting in better power generation, performance and reliability in system applications. It comprises of 108 Half-cut cells monocrsytalline module. The module power ranges from 390W – 420W. However, it has highly strengthened design and high reliability. It features multi-busbar technology decreasing the resistance loss and also achieves high efficiency up to 21.22%. The linear performance warranty is 20 Year Product Warranty and 25 Year Performance Warranty.

Really happy with the results since my install, good panels at a low cost.
Works well. For the price I paid I'm Very happy
Happy with Solar Run and the system they installed. Eging panels and Sungrow Inverter
I was pleasantly surprised at how well these panels delivered as I had not heard of them before.
