Jamie chose Solar Run to install solar on his roof, the perfect 6.6 kW system to power his home and save bills for the family.
When Jamie decided to go ahead with Solar he first talked with Tanya one of our experts. During the consultation, she discussed Jamie’s house and how his family uses power from day today. Tanya identified exactly what system Jamie’s family needed to reduce energy costs with solar.
Soon after Jamie received “My Solar Design” which includes a panel layout, product choice, and system price. After asking a few questions he was happy to proceed.
With a subsidy of up to $6,000 on the cost of a battery, coupled up with low-interest finance available, what’s there to lose? Contact your local Solar Run Franchisee today to start this process!
With the Clean Energy Finance Corporation providing $100 million in State Government subsidies to help pay for the instalment of home battery systems, the South Australia Battery Scheme is available to 40,000 households. In addition, the installation of these systems will reduce demand on the network (especially during peak periods) and in turn, lower energy prices for all South Australians.
The subsidy is available to all South Australian homes and calculated on kilowatt-hour capacity of the battery purchased. Energy Concession Holders are eligible for a higher subsidy, ensuring low-income homes are also supported in the scheme.
The Scheme has been created to ensure every South Australia home on the grid is eligible to purchase a subsidised home battery system. Energy Concession Holders are eligible for a higher subsidy, ensuring low-income homes are also supported in the scheme. To claim the subsidy, an approved battery system needs to be installed by a System Provider who is qualified under the Scheme.
A home battery system normally includes a battery and an inverter, paired with existing or new rooftop solar panels. It allows customers to store unused electricity for later use instead of routing it to the grid.
The cost of a home battery alters dependent on the size of the battery and whether you need to purchase new or additional solar panels. As a guide, download the HBS System Price Guide.
