Don't consider Solar Run or any of their franchises - See my complaint and demand letter I've sent to both Shiran and the Managing Director after filing a formal case with Australian Consumer Affairs and advised me of my consumer rights and how to best proceed with VCAT.A technician I called yesterday advised me that the system is faulty and not repairable on his end.Please don't waste your money and know as a consumer you have rights!

It was pleasant to work with Solar Run back in June 2022 when I first started my research. Shiran was at first responsive and timely with communication, and was able to set up a plan according to my need. However, once I approved a solar plan, and signed the payment plan, it was almost impossible to get through to Shiran by phone or by email. Our last correspondence was in July 2022 regarding a delay in the plan, which I greatly appreciated. Since then, (it is currently January 2023) I have not heard from Shiran once. My phone calls went unanswered, voice or text messages were not returned, emails not replied. I even tried to contact Solar Run head office to get Shiran to call back without success. It is even more confusing to hear that others have been able to get their solar plan up and running within weeks, while I’ve been waiting for 6 months without any efficient communication. From happy customer to very confused customer, I’m looking at alternative options for my solar needs.

Shiran is a fantastic operator and a credit to the franchise. He patiently explained everything clearly and there was never any hard sell or pressure to make a decision over the months that I went back and forth as to whether I should or shouldn't proceed. He even managed to get my panels installed by Christmas, just before a run of hot weather. Can't thank him enough.5 stars all the way.

I recommend Solar Run Taylor's Lakes to anyone wanting to install solar. Sharin was very helpful and honest with my query. He helped me trouble shoot a problem with the inverter over the phone and it is up and running again. He could've sent someone and charged a call out fee plus charged for fixing the problem. I am ecstatic to have installed solar energy. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Shiran provided excellent customer service and was readily available for any troubleshooting and questions. In the 10 months since installation I've already saved a whopping $2463 on my energy bill! Monthly energy average expense has dropped from $266 to $60. Energy bill for November 2021 was $3. We are on track to getting back our initial solar investment expense in 2 1/2 years. I highly recommend. It's well worth it 🙂

We had been looking for a solar solution for quite a while until we found Shiran at Solar Run. We first got him to install some solar roof exhaust fans which he achieved in a very short time frame, very affordable and installed by an expert Roof Plumber. The fans have made a significant difference to the heat build up in our house. Shiran deservedly earned our trust and so, we asked him to about a solar solution. Shiran responded promptly with a quote, took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. He managed everything and provided a terrific highly capable solution which was again installed by a very professional team in time for Christmas. It was a seamless level of professional service which still continues as we learn to understand our new solar system (Shiran is very prompt in responding to our questions which is excellent after-product service). We are very happy with the products, experience and quality of service provided by Shiran at Solar Run and highly recommend him if you are in the market for solar systems and solar exhaust fans.

Shiran, the franchise owner was both professional and responsive. I had a specific UPS backup requirement for my solar +battery install and Shiran worked patiently with me throughout the design and quotation process to make sure that I got what I wanted at a very cost effective price.Once the details have been bedded down, I was most pleasantly surprised that install was scheduled for 10 calendar days later not withstanding that there was Easter in between.The quality of the installation was 5 stars and they even went through the trouble of running the AC cables in the wall cavity even though the switchboard was less than 1.5m away and a conduit would have sufficed.As a franchise owner, Shiran came on site to check on how the install was going-when installation started, at the end of the day of j stall and when the battery was commissioned.The Alpha ESS system specified by Shiran WS both cost effective and dimensioned perfectly, providing me with stored electricity to last the entire night and on a bright sunny autumn day like today was fully recharged by 11:30am.A big thank you and a 6 star review!!
